The Artist

The canvas speaks volumes
Opening pathways to the sky
Where everything is possible
A palette of colors
And the tip of a paintbrush
Ardently embraces every wonder…
From the morning sunrise
To the peaks of the mountains
To the flower that blooms
To the lightening that flashes
To the eyes that reveal
The true heartbeat
Of the soul…
Accepting, appreciating
Capturing…
There is no passion
Like the raw passion
Of an artist who loves you

For dVerse and our host, Sanaa Rizvi. Sanaa’s prompt is our personal take on an erotic poem. The artist passionately accepts and appreciates the model β€” imperfections and all. ❀️

A slight revision of the lines:
A palette of colors
And the tip of a paintbrush
Breaths ardor into every wonder

Ardently embraces every wonder…

How right you are Mother W. There has to be that pull unexplained serves right with enough passion to be able to relate to the viewers

    1. Strange happenings, Rob β€” I posted two comments on your poem and both showed up with question marks I didn’t put in there. I’m on an iPad β€” don’t know what’s making it do that on your blog. Please be so kind as to delete the errant question marks.

This is absolutely gorgeous, Mother Wintermoon! ❀️ So much to love in this poem especially; “And the tip of a paintbrush breathes ardor into every wonder,” yes! As a creative person be it a poet, a writer,a musician or an artist πŸ™‚ we know very well that passion is key when it comes to everything that we do. The same goes for eroticism. For what would it be without passion? Thank you so much for writing to the prompt πŸ™‚
